Under Academic Policy some imp points for students
CLASS ATTENDANCE
Attendance of a minimum 75% of the lectures/other academic exercises in a course shall be mandatory to sit in a semester examination.
FINE FOR ABSENCE FROM A CLASS LAB SESSION WITHOUT APPROVED LEAVE:-
a. Undergraduate students A fine for absence without duly Approved Leave shall be payable by the concerned student @ Rs. 100/- per Class Session.
b. Graduate and Postgraduate Students A fine for absence without duly approved leave shall be payable by the concerned student @ Rs. 200/- per Class Session.
c. Re-admission Fee due to suspension/drop on account of Absence without Duly Approved Leave after registration in a semester A student dropped from the rolls of the University on account of absence without duly approved leave after registration in a semester (in any program) shall be required to pay Rs. 10,000/- as a Re-admission Fee and the due fine for the absence period.

Students Fee Concession and Award of Scholarships
The LLU Fee Concession & Scholarship Policy has the following features:
- Merit Scholarship for First Semester Students
- Merit Scholarship for Subsequent Semesters
- Fee Concession for Needy students.
- Fee Concession for siblings.
- Policy for LLU Employees and Their Dependents
- Fee in Installments
- Merit Scholarship for First Semester Students
1.1 Any student who gets admission after the due date of fee deposit / scheduled test date / commencement of the semester, shall not be entitled to get merit scholarship in the first semester.
1.2 Students falling under clause 1.2 will be allowed to compete for merit scholarship in the subsequent semesters.
1.3 A student who changes the program of study will not be entitled for merit scholarship in the first semester.
1.4 In addition, fee waivers to position holders of BISE examination / Diploma holders are admissible in the first semester as follows:
100% tuition fee waiver to first position holder
75% tuition fee waiver to second position holder
50% tuition fee waiver to third position holder
1.5 Tuition fee waivers are also allowed in the first semester to the students admitted on A-level basis.
Three A’s in A-Level 50%tuition fee waiver
Two A’s in A-Level 25%tuition fee waiver
1.6 This award is only for the first semester. For subsequent semesters, the students would have to compete according to following scheme.
- Merit Scholarship for Subsequent Semesters
2.1 Scholarship awarded at the time of admission will remain same in first two semesters. Scholarship will be revised in the third semester and onward in every semester on the basis of achieved CGPA mentioned in section 2 of 2.2.
2.2 Merit scholarship will be awarded (in the tuition fee only) according to the following criteria:

*This pattern will not applicable on LLB (5 Years) and D.Pharm
2.3 A student shall have to pass all the courses described in the scheme of studies (of previous semester) in order to qualify for the merit scholarship for next semester.
2.3 A student must score at least 3 CGPA (out of 4) in order to compete for this merit scholarship.
2.4 In case of tie, decision would be made on the basis of %age of total marks obtained in the final examination (of previous semester).
2.5 The students who have frozen a semester or have dropped / withdrawn a course or have repeated a course / semester are not eligible to compete for this merit scholarship.
2.6 Immaculate character is the foremost requirement for merit scholarship. The students with record of disciplinary action against them are not eligible for this award.
2.7 If a student must have maintained
- Fee Concession for Need Based
3.1 If a student shall not score at least 3.0 CGPA (out of 4), the scholarship already awarded on need based will be revised according to the decision of the committee in the section 3 of 3.3.
3.2 Scholarship awarded at the time of admission will remain same in first two semesters. Scholarship will be revised in the third semester and onward in every semester on the bases of CGPA.
3.3 The university is providing fee concession to needy students. Such concessions are to be decided on case-to-case basis. Students would be required to apply for need-based scholarship in prescribed format. Following information would be required.
- Family income
- Parents alive or deceased
- Number of siblings
- Residential locality
- House owned or rented, covered area
- Family utilities bills and
- Type of vehicle(s) owned by the family
A committee will conduct interviews and decide the fee concession allowance in 25%, 50% or 75% tuition fee waiver.
4.Fee Concession for Siblings
The LLU allows fee concession to siblings who are enrolled in the university. Such concession is granted as per following scheme:
4.1 If two siblings are studying in LLU then
One will get 50% fee concession
One will pay full fee
If three siblings are studying in LLU then
One will get 100% fee concession
Two will pay full fee
If four siblings are studying in LLU then
One will get 100% fee concession
One will get 50% fee concession
Two will pay full fee
If five siblings are studying in LLU then
Two will get 100% fee concession
Three will pay full fee
4.2 The sibling getting brother/sister concession, cannot apply for need base fee concession. However the siblings not getting this concession can be granted, at the most, 50% fee concession if they deserve this on the basis of need.
4.3 Fee concession will be granted to those siblings who are expected to complete their programs of studies earlier.
4.4 If the brother/sister who is expected to complete his/her study program earlier as per schedule of studies, is getting merit scholarship, then the other sibling will avail the brother/sister concession.
4.5 A student can avail only one form of financial assistance at one time.
- Policy for LLU Employees and Their Dependents
Fee concession policy for the LLU employees and their dependents studying in different courses/programs of studies is as follows:
5.1 This policy shall apply to the employees of the University and their sons, daughters and spouses.
5.2 The employees shall have the benefit of 50%tuition fee concession.
5.3 Sons, daughters and spouse of an LLU employee (if dependent on the employee) will have the benefit of 50% fee concession.
5.4 Concession (if granted) would apply to tuition fee only.
5.5 Awardees of these concessions would be required to maintain CGPA at or above 3.00
- Fee in Installments
The university may allow deposit of fee in two or three equal installments to those students who cannot deposit the semester fee in lump sum.
